GOAL 1:   STUDENT SUCCESS: Senior Project Presentations – Dec. 7th: Seniors will be sharing their senior project presentations this Wednesday, December 7th @2:00 p.m.   Appreciate everyone’s support as senior project presentations reflects our school’s collective capstone efforts.  Please note that we will be on an assembly schedule that day. GOAL 1:   STUDENT SUCCESS: Stay the Course: With less then a month left in this semester, appreciate everyone maintaining that focus.  Let’s ensure that students are engaged, challenged and with bell-to-bell instruction.  For struggling students, be sure that there’s documentation per “Student Support” meetings reflecting strategies such as differentiation, parent contacts/meetings, etc.   Student learning success is an expectation. Congratulations to our varsity football team for a very successful season!  Awesome job as they were runner-up/2nd place at the Hawaii High Schools Division II State Championship game on Oahu.  We are proud of their accomplishments!    Want to also share our appreciation to Senate Chair Ron Kouchi, Representatives Derek Kawakami, Jimmy Tokioka, Dee Morikawa & Representative elect Nadine Nakamura, DOW AGRO-SCIENCES & DUPONT PIONEER for their thoughtfulness in helping to cover the costs for the live streaming in our gym and purchasing the meals for the football team while on Oahu. GOAL 1:   STUDENT SUCCESS: Class of 2020 CTE Fair &  Registration: Grade 9 students are having their CTE fair on Thursday, November 10th during period 2 in the gym to learn more about the Academy pathways they may be interested in selecting.   Academy visits are planned for Nov. 22nd & 23rd with a parent meeting scheduled  for Tuesday, Nov. 22nd.  On-line registration per their Transition classes beginning Dec. 5th and finalized (with parent signatures) by Dec. 21st.  Kudos to Waianela Boiser, Grade 9 Hui teachers, Alanna Potter, CTE teachers, and Todd Barcial for helping make this challenging process…
