UPDATES – WEEK OF SEPTEMBER 5th

GOAL 1:   STUDENT SUCCESS: Infinite Campus Updates: Data continues to show that a good percentage of teachers with strong understanding of Infinite Campus as we monitor daily attendance and other data such as mid-term quarter grades.  Appreciate everyone willingness to learn/support each other.   Parent letters have been mailed and a special “MAHALO” to Registrar Todd Barcial for his hard work in making this happen.   Let’s now support our parents so they can be better informed of their child(ren)’s education.   Academic/Financial Plans for SY 2017-18:                        …

GOAL 1:   STUDENT SUCCESS: Infinite Campus Updates: Student Portal Updates: Per the Infinite Campus student summary report, sharing percentage of students who successfully logged into their accounts this past week:  Grade 9 – 99%;  Grade 10 – 100%;  Grade 11 – 99%; and Grade 12 – 100%.  Terrific job as data clearly shows everyone did a great job in supporting our students and each other.    Mike Maddock will be available this week during recess in I-100 to assist any student having access challenges. GOAL 1:   STUDENT SUCCESS: Posting Mid-Term 1 Marks: Registrar Todd Barcial is reminding everyone that the window for Posting Mid-Term 1 marks is now open. Marks are due Monday August 29th by 3pm.  Please review attached posting of marks memo. GOAL 1:   STUDENT SUCCESS: Student Support System: Work continues as we strive toward always improving our Student Support PLC practices.  Critical that there’s consistency -addressing documentation of teacher interventions, parental contacts, and use of data across Huis & Academies.  Administration is working with their Hui/Academy teams so to ensure continued improvement.         WASC Mid-Term Visit: Beginning September 2016, we will be having strategic meetings in preparing and collecting documentation for our mid-term accreditation report.   As much focus will be on the IOUs per the WASC visiting team recommendations,  attached copy shares the recommendations.   Please…
