GOAL 1:   STUDENT SUCCESS:   Senior Project Presentations: Thank you for supporting our seniors as they share their Senior Projects on Wednesday, May 10th.   Remaining Focused: Re-sharing the importance to remain focused.  Students need that consistent learning environment as no instructional day should be considered unimportant or expendable.  These last school days are just as important as the first days and have an enormous impact upon a student’s impression of a course and teacher.  Your efforts, hard work and achievement for SY 2016-17 can be dissipated in the final days of a semester if these next few weeks are…

GOAL 1:   STUDENT SUCCESS:   Warrior JROTC Annual Celebration and Awards Banquet: Congratulations to our JROTC students for a successful school year and especially for a wonderful awards banquet this past Saturday.  The many local, national, and special awards earned, speaks directly to the outstanding students’ work under the leadership of both Col. Levoit and Sgt. UPDATES -WEEK OF APRIL 17th

GOAL 1:   STUDENT SUCCESS:   C2C (Connect to Careers): As shared in our last faculty meeting, the Hawaii Department of Education, along with the University of Hawaii campuses,  Camber of Commerce and other partners have begun promoting the C2C (Connect to Careers) initiative designed to support each high school’s academy programs.  The major difference is that C2C is an industry led coalition to collaboratively prepare students for success in high-skill, in-demand careers.  Attached fact sheet provides more information and also sharing some updated C2C partnerships already happening: (See attached file: C2C fact sheet.pdf) Costco:   Kapaa High will be participating in…
