Facilities Updates:
Science Renovations:
Bldgs. B, R & S: Cabinet installation work has begun and contractors will continue unloading and installing the cabinets/counter tops over the coming days. The last phase of deliveries will be for Bldg. S expected to be delivered sometime in early February. This will be followed by the electricians, plumbers, and painters doing their final work. Upon completion, we will carry out the final inspections before officially accepting the work and having our teachers/students back into the classrooms.
CTE Renovations:
Bldgs. D & G: While there are some minor touch-up work to address, renovation work for Bldg G is nearly completed. Expect the State DOE and Kapaa High to officially take back the building very shortly. Renovations for D-102 and D-103 are progressing at a good pace with much of the major demolition work completed, and drywall installation work will begin this week.
